Who we are

A roofing company for the whole roof

Oakcrest Roofing Ltd works on pitched and flat roofs across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. That covers new roofs and re-roofs in tile and slate, flat roofs in felt, rubber and fibreglass, chimneys, leadwork, dry fix ridges and verges, fascias, soffits and guttering, and the removal of spray foam insulation from lofts.

The North West is hard on roofs. Wind-driven rain finds a cracked ridge or a lifted flashing quickly, and moss holds water against tiles through the winter. Most of the work we see starts as a small fault, which is why it pays to call early.

Every job starts with a proper look and photos of what we find, followed by an itemised written quote. When the work is done, the site is cleared and we talk you through what was done.

What you can count on

How we work on every roof

Four promises that hold whether we are refixing a few slates or stripping the whole roof.

  • 01

    A written price first

You get an itemised quote before any work starts, so you know what you are paying for and nothing changes once the scaffold is up.

  • 02

    Photos of what we find

We photograph the parts of the roof you cannot see from the ground, so you can judge the problem for yourself rather than take our word for it.

  • 03

    Repair or replace, honestly

If a repair will see the roof through, that is what we quote. When a roof is at the end of its life we tell you, so you can plan instead of paying twice.

  • 04

    Tidy sites, waste removed

Your garden, drive and windows are protected while we work, and every old tile, batten and offcut leaves with us at the end of the job.

The process

Four steps, no pressure

From the first call to the final clear-up, here is how we work.

  1. 1

    Step 1 of 4

    Call or send the form

Tell us what is happening with your roof. We ask a few questions and book a visit at a time that works for you.

  2. 2

    Step 2 of 4

    Free survey

We inspect the roof, check the loft where needed and take photos, then talk you through what we have found.

  3. 3

    Step 3 of 4

    Itemised written quote

You receive a clear quote covering materials, method and cost, with any options explained. There is no obligation.

  4. 4

    Step 4 of 4

    The work, then sign-off

We carry out the job on the agreed date, clear the site and walk you through the finished work before we leave.

Drone roof surveys

Our drone roof survey and aerial inspection service provides an instant, efficient and safe way to assess the condition of your roof. Using HD drones, we capture detailed images and videos of hard-to-reach areas, identifying potential issues like leaks, cracks, and structural damage.

This non-invasive method reduces risks and disruption and results in accurate data without the need for roof ladders or expensive scaffolding. Ideal for residential, commercial or industrial properties, this service ensures thorough, cost-effective inspections every time.

We advise that you get your roof professionally surveyed every 2-3 years to keep up with any potential damage and early signs of wear and tear. If we catch minor repairs early, they will not become a more serious problem in the future.
